This interactive neon installation explores the technique of pulling colored glass tubing of different densities pumped with neon/argon mixes. Wired to a single transformer, the units react to the electric charge of human skin and brighten, dim, or even fully turn off when touched.
Video Description: a hand gently touches a green argon unit in the installation. In response, the entire installation dims. The brightness ebbs as the contact is removed and reapplied, eventually shutting off.
